As a team that prides itself in excellent client care, a dedicated Showing Agent just made sense - especially with how quickly homes sell in our market. Showing Agents, unlike traditional brokers, are committed to scheduling tours and appointments with our clients to browse listings during their home search. This does not absolve the Realtor® or Broker of duties related to showings, but rather, enhances the home shopping experience for our clients by allowing the agents to focus more on the meat of the process - identifying the right home for the buyer, ratifying the purchase agreement, and everything involved in the process after that. By hiring a Showing Agent, our team is now better-equipped to handle ongoing client demands of touring homes on their schedule, which means more opportunities for quick offers and effective results thereafter.
What will Lori do?
As a Showing Agent, Lori's primary role will involve scheduling and touring properties, revealing material facts about all properties of interest to the buyer, and - in some cases - drafting and submitting offers on behalf of the agent and their client when necessary. Her duties stop short of contract negotiations, special considerations for purchasing a home, and continuing service through the escrow process. Once a property is identified or offered on, your U&O Realtor® will schedule an independent in-person review of the property and provide additional information if needed. They will also be your go-to advisor for offer strategy and market insights. There's still a TON of work your agent will be involved with, even if home shopping isn't always an option for your agent. Let's face it, sometimes you just have to see a home to know for sure, so why wait? No longer is your agent's schedule a burden - Lori's got us covered, and we're ECSTATIC to finally have someone like her to help our clients with the process!
